Noise protection meets design: moss art for your room

Imagine you could easily reduce the distracting background noise in your living or working area – without expensive construction work. Especially in open-plan offices, where ambient noise is often a distraction, it is important to create your own retreats.

With our elegant room dividers and moss pictures in various sizes and formats, you get a natural, sustainable solution for sound dampening and, at the same time, beautiful wall decoration.

How does sound absorption by moss work?

Moss naturally possesses excellent acoustic properties. The porous structure of moss allows sound waves to be absorbed and reflected rather than amplified.

When sound waves hit the soft surface of the moss, they penetrate the cell structure and are converted into thermal energy through friction effects. This results in the sound waves being dampened and the noise level in your room being significantly reduced.

Positive impact on the indoor climate

In addition to noise reduction, our moss pictures also ensure a positive indoor climate. Why? Moss regulates humidity in a completely natural way. It absorbs excess moisture and releases it when needed, which is particularly beneficial in humid environments.

Furthermore, moss also binds pollutants from the air, thus improving air quality in enclosed spaces. A completely natural air filter, in other words.
